The Roller

The patented heart of La Batte. It reproduces the human hand, only better, to form a regular cone, from 5 cm to 13.23 cm — true King Size.

What it's for

The centerpiece — the heart of the patented invention INPI FR2606195: the shell, its flexible rods and its screws form an inseparable whole, completed by the tongue. It also houses the Sizing Gauge (large) and the humidifier. Two versions: the Original, streamlined — exactly as I perfected it on January 7, 2026 —, and the Premium, which adds comfort: Support Clamp with automatic release, pusher and support magnets. And at the center of the base, a maintenance hole lets you easily clear out any leftover crumbs — once the tongue is inserted, it closes back up.

How to use it

You place the two corners and the parallel side; the Roller does the rest. It works with any paper: pre-cut, up to 13.23 cm, or cut from a roll — like the one included in the Starter Kit — as long as the length is right: the Sizing Gauge gives you the maximum size. And for purists, the "French method": a precise trim of the paper, with no excess — about a third less paper, for a smoother draw and a purer flavor (detailed in the How-To).
