The 2 Tongues
A key part: it's all in the lines. The perfect angle, the maintenance hole sealed shut — and a little scoop for pouring.
What it's for
The tongue is a key part, and it's all in its lines. Inserted into the Roller — pressed flush, top edge horizontal — it gives the perfect angle. It's where the first of the only two rules you need to know applies: lay the sticky edge of the paper, sticky side up, parallel to the lines. Keep that parallel, and the paper always sits at the right angle, so the sticky part closes the cone perfectly. (It's all shown step by step in the King Size Batte animation, on the How to Use page.)
How to use it
Second function, a practical one: once inserted, the tongue seals the maintenance hole in the base — open to clear out crumbs, closed for rolling.
And the third: the second tongue doubles as a small scoop for pouring your mix into the Roller — prepared to the side, scooped up in one go, and set at just the right length (and with the Premium Max Box, it pairs perfectly with the lid-tray). Having two also means always having the right angle on hand — and if you're sharing, everyone gets their own.
Included in: every box (2 tongues supplied).
